Casa per musicisti
Il luminoso appartamento di due musicisti milanesi ha richiesto un'intervento totale sia per le condizioni in cui si trovava sia per le esigenze di chi lo avrebbe abitato. Tanti libri, un bagno in più, una distribuzione che consentisse di sfruttare al meglio gli spazi occupati anche da strumenti ingombranti. Nel largo disimpegno ha trovato posto la biblioteca e l'angolo studio separabile visivamente da una parete scorrevole in legno. Una leggera vetrata separa la cucina dal living consentendo così di sfruttare al meglio la doppia esposizione dell'appartamento. Su progetto anche le ampie armadiature e le inferriate di sicurezza delle portefinestre di accesso al terrazzo.

This light-filled apartment belonging to two musicians from Milan needed a complete renovation because of the condition it was in and because of the owners’ special requests, i.e. room for lots of books and for large instruments, as well as an extra bathroom. The very wide hallway served as a place for bookshelves and for, at one end, a study which can be closed off by a large sliding wooden door. A glass partition separates the kitchen from the living-room and exploits the apartment’s double exposure, maximizing daylighting. The project also included creating a generous wardrobe area, lots of cupboard space and shelving, as well as safety grills on the French windows leading to the terrace.
